Mission
Our ultimate goal is to develop, design and build "zero-energy" single family houses and lofts in the Houston area by limiting energy usage and emissions and by obtaining electricity and other energy from renewable energy sources. To achieve our objective, we focus on “passive” as well “active” green strategies. On the “passive” side, we learn from Houston’s vernacular buildings, or those built before electricity and air conditioning were developed, and use that knowledge at the outset for the design and construction of our projects. “Active” green building strategies are also employed; always keeping in mind what is appropriate and suitable here. |
