Team members wear multiple hats and come from varied backgrounds; planning, architecture, design, construction, marketing, and law. We share a vision to create well designed, cost effective, energy efficient and regionally specific single family residences in the Houston area that use eco-friendly and locally available and compatible building materials and methods. All believe that the key to designing and building energy efficient and sustainable buildings is an understanding of the vernacular principles of a region’s past. By understanding these principles and the decisions that produced them, we think that innovative, modern, and forward thinking ideas to create new designs well suited to meet new conditions, contexts, or purposes will result. |
